NP80 offers a working speed over the Internet comparable to a local network. To achieve this, the data transfers are paged. The requested data is solicited by the client as necessary and are stored in a cache to avoid the retransmission of that data. It's possible to locally store the content of the cache between two uses of the application in order to the data to become available more quickly.

The pages are compressed, therefore reducing the network traffic, which allows a better use of the resources.
